a fun and exciting evening Consider: Here Come the Famous Brothers If you like bluegrass music, here's a great fundraiser! Three part harmony, one part comedy… Their "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" harmonies have won the Famous Brothers a maniacal following throughout the Chicagoland area. This delightful trip has roughly 90 minutes of bluegrass musical comedy. They can do two sets of 45 minutes each, giving your group time to enjoy their music, plus take advantage of any liquor or food set up you might have to increase your fundraiser. Your audiences will chant along to the choruses of these tunes: "Your Love Is Like A Slippery Floor, My Heart Two Stocking Feet" and "It Took A Single Piece of Rope To Take My Brother's Life, But I've Got Twenty Ways To Kill You With My Swiss Army Knife." These are clever, irreverent and downright hummable bluegrass death songs, love ballads to women with names like Wanda June and Lurlene, and a rafter-raising aural salute called "Yodel in the Valley." In real life, these “brothers” are Will Clinger, host of WTTW’s "Wild Chicago," as irate control freak Willie "B" Famous; actor and voice specialist Darren Stephens as womanizing charmer Darren "2B" Famous; and singer/songwriter, environmental engineer Rick Vamos as the slow-witted Ricky "Famous" Famous. All three play off each other with a pleasant mix of self-conscious bad humor and innocent pathos. The cost to have these three talented guys come to your group is $2,000.
