a fun and exciting evening Consider the comedy: Late Nite Catechism The best Sister act ever! Now in its 13th year in Chicago, this comedy hit makes a great fundraiser for your school, church, or organization. Watch the authoritarian whims of Sister as she doles out glow-in-the-dark rosaries at one moment and confiscates lipstick and chewing gum at the next. Sister engages the audience in a whimsical question and answer session as her uproarious lesson explains church doctrine. Catholics and non-Catholics alike become part of the most hilarious and enjoyable adult catechism class ever attended! Late Nite Catechism is refreshingly different from most plays about religion, and those differences make this one-woman show a topnotch comedy. This is a gleeful, playful, always respectful, gentle and never vulgar send-up. It’s a laugh-filled evening for all cultures, classes, religions. There are two ways to use this show for a fundraiser: 1. Late Nite Catechism runs every week at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted, Chicago. In the past 13 years, the show has helped raised millions of dollars for organizations all over the United States. There are 110 seats at the Royal George. The ticket price is $30, but if you wanted to buy out either theater, we’d lower the ticket price to $20. You can sell the tickets for the normal price, and keep the extra money for your organization. If you sell 100 tickets, your profit will be $1,000.
We provide the actress, stage manager, set, nifty prizes, and laughs, laughs, laughs. In addition, you could have a silent auction or raffles, sell beverages, food and merchandise, and make this a huge fundraiser. We charge a low per ticket fee and you turn around and sell the tickets and keep the profit. Ticket prices can easily be in the $30 to $35 range. Having a successful fundraiser is easier than you think. We’ll provide you step by step instructions for having a fun and successful event and can put in in touch with the many churches in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin who have already used this show. This show will make a perfect fundraiser for your church, school or organization.
